My name is Mel Murphy, and I am owner and founder of Holly Cottage Holistic Training Center at Coachford, Co Cork, Ireland.

My Story

I grew up in the countryside, highly sensitive and open and connected to the natural world .My childhood was spent climbing trees and wandering through fields, and as a teenager my family and I would visit ancient forts, castles, abbeys ,stone circles and ancient dolmens.

My spiritual path continued to unfold when I was in my early 20’s. I began to study meditation, spirituality and psychic mediumship and receive energy healing sessions. I became even more highly sensitive, with strong psychic perception and heightened awareness of Spirit and energy.

In my 30’s I trained to Master Teacher level in Hands on Energy Healing modalities. I am a Master teacher in Integrated Energy Therapy, Reiki & Seichim, Kundalini Reiki and Ama Deus Shamanic Gaurani Reiki Healing.

In my early 40's I devoted myself to Training to become a Psychic Medium and I continue to learn and evolve with spirit as my teacher. I studied Spirit Art in the Arthur Findlay College in the UK and I trained in Physical Mediumship in Ireland. I advanced my Mediumship Development through immersing in a three-year training and mentorship program with Andrej Djordevitch.With Andrej I trained as a Trance Healer, Trance Medium and Trance Teacher.

I have studied with many different Shamanic teachers, from many traditions, here in Ireland, and abroad. I have a Masters in Ama Deus Gaurani Shamanic Reiki.I studied for four years with the Druid Grove of Anu in Co Kerry. I have trained in person with Paul O Halloran at Pathways teaching in Shamanic land and House Healing. Spirit continues to be my Teacher, and Spirit always has the plan.

My Clients

I support people on their journey through life by holding space in one-to-one healing sessions. I have helped people who suffer from trauma, addictions, abuse, grief, anxiety, stress, feeling disempowered, hopelessness, and fear. I have worked with people from all walks of life from all around the globe. I help people navigate grief and loss through evidential mediumship and trance mediumship. I facilitate training in psychic mediumship, trance healing, Integrated energy therapy and Shamanic practises, I offer expansive and transformative experiences led by great Spirit through group healing events, mediumship and trance demonstrations, and shamanic ceremonies.

I offer land and house clearing for homes and business, to enable inhabitants to live in peace and harmony, and to thrive in their business.

I regularly guide sacred tours to Egypt.

About Holly Cottage Holistic Training Center.

During the pandemic, Spirit showed me and encouraged me to renovate a cottage that belonged to our ancestors. The cottage is situated at a crossroads, a thin place, and surrounded by stone walls with nearby ancient settlements and sacred sites. We mindfully and respectfully restored the 1920s cottage to create a six roomed Holistic Training Center on two acres of land where I offer all my services. The centre also has its own Spiritual craft shop, where my family create Shamanic tools and Art for sale. The center has ample parking, a labyrinth in the garden and an outdoor covered seating area, and fire ceremony sacred space. Holly Cottage Holistic Training Center is here to help you Heal.
